2024-2025 Season
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9
Dear friends of Acacia,Recently I witnessed discord among people I care about and in my heart I heard these words: “Blessed are the peacemakers.” While discussing this theme, the staff and I observed how often peace is defined as a kind of tranquility, but achieving it requires action. Join us for a season where we will explore what it might look like to make peace in an increasingly polarized world we share with other children of God.

A Sleep of Prisoners
By Christopher Fry
March 21—April 6, 2025“Where, in the maze of right and wrong, are we to do what action?” Four prisoners of war are locked in a church in enemy territory. Deprived of food, water, rest and distractions, each man is drawn deeper into his own struggles and those of his cellmates. Reality dissolves into a dream where the men play figures from the Bible in a story of obedience, rebellion, violence and peace. “One of the most interesting examples of contemporary religious drama.” — Journal of the English Association
